Check Drives

How To An Advanced Driver manualThe practical sessions start at 9.30 am and finish no later than 12.30 midday. They involve an observer taking you and another associate out in his/her car for a demo drive on weeks 1, 3 and 5. Then you will drive your car for about 1 hour with the observer alongside giving directions and offering advice on improving your driving style. One weeks 2 and 4 you will simply be driving your car for a check drive lasting about an hour. Week 6 is an assessed drive to see how 'test-ready' you are.

After this you will assigned a 'one-to-one' observer who will ensure that you are ready to take the test successfully.

Mock Test

Although we conduct a "mock" test at the end of the course, the actual test is done by a retired Class One Police Driver whom you will probably have met during the course. 85% of those who take their test pass first time and the remainder usually pass on their second attempt.
